Singers in Prelude are welcomed into an energized and spirited learning environment. Prelude singers experience the magic of collaboration with others and meet new friends who love singing, all while learning musical skills such as singing in parts, solfege, and music reading. Prelude meets at YCKC’s State Line location.

Welcome to the Youth Chorus of Kansas City Prelude Choir! YCKC Prelude is our 3rd-6th grade choir. As a member of this ensemble, students will build their vocal skills, ensemble skills, music literacy skills, and performance confidence. This season, I'm excited about our collaborations with the new Etude and Rhapsody choirs, our performance at NASCAR, our annual caroling event, and much more!
