Singers in Chorale are welcomed into a fun, fast-paced community with a focus on excellence! Chorale singers will connect with new friends through musical performance. Skills such as vocal technique, part-singing, ear training and literacy are taught to help singers gain confidence and excel.
Chorale meets from 6:00-7:50 pm on Monday evenings at YCKC’s State Line location beginning in August.
Jana Houston, Director
Mrs. Houston earned a Masters of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from the University of Kansas in 2021 and a Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Missouri - Kansas City's Conservatory in 2014. She is a firm believer in quality music and singing experiences for singers. She has been a secondary choir director for over 10 years, and has been a part of YCKC since its founding in 2017.
